Part 2/10:

Upon entering, he is greeted by a chilling sight—numerous lifeless bodies, seemingly frozen in time. As Davis delves deeper into the darkened corridors, he encounters a translucent, humanoid apparition that eludes the naked eye. In a fatal turn of events, the apparition swiftly passes through him, leading to his immediate death and leaving his goggles rendered useless.

The Researcher’s Quest for Answers

As the story unfolds, we meet Mark Kleene, a brilliant researcher from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). He is a key player behind several advanced combat technologies, including the very goggles that Davis had worn. In the wake of the incident involving the soldier, Mark is summoned to Moldova to analyze the unsettling footage captured by the goggles.
