The narrative takes a gripping turn as Wukong and Yi discover a village of demon inhabitants who suffer under the brutal reign of Shang Di. Wukong's resurgence to become a hero for the oppressed takes shape as he rallies the outcast demons. However, the arrival of Liu and other familial complications complicate matters, leading to internal conflicts as Wukong grapples with his identity versus the expectations placed upon him by those around him.
