The Investigation Begins
The FBI grapples with the aftermath of the blackout. As agents begin to share the visions they experienced during the event—peeks into their uncertain futures—Mark leads the charge to unravel the mystery. The term "Flash Forward" is coined to reference the shared experiences; each agent glimpses vital moments in their futures that may link back to the blackout.
With one agent, Dimitri, alarmed over his absence of a vision, concerns arise about his potential fate. Meanwhile, Janice, another agent, uneasily unravels the remnants of her flash: she is unexpectedly pregnant—a revelation that completely contradicts her current life situation. This newfound knowledge only thickens the plot as they piece together clues regarding the nature of their investigation.
