In Hong Kong, we meet Su Lung, a retired goalkeeper struggling to adapt to life as a soccer commentator. After losing all his savings, he starts selling various products to support his family. His wife, Lai Chu, is an aspiring actress who ends up taking care of their two children: Yao Choi, the trickster eldest son with dreams of film directing, and Yao Yao, the youngest daughter who courageously copes with a disability in her leg.
On one fateful day, after a mishap, Simulu crash-lands on Earth and loses his much-needed artifact. Meanwhile, Su Lung, tasked with caring for Mr. Lam's cat, unwittingly brings Simulu into his home. The cat's appearance leads to a series of comical and chaotic situations as the family grapples with the strange, oversized feline.
