Part 2/10:
Tang's journey unfolds in a vivid dream where he is awarded a glowing halo from the gods, only to wake up amidst a fierce storm lying on straw in a circus. Here, he works as a performer trying to showcase his disciples—starting with the Pig Demon—who brings discomfort to the audience with its strange appearance. Tang's other disciple, the grotesque Fish Demon, adds to the horror, causing chaos and disapproval among the spectators. Despite these performances falling flat, Tang is determined to redeem himself by introducing the legendary Monkey King. However, the Monkey King's disastrous entrance—a comedic fall—only angers the audience further.
