Her human friends plan to go to a party without her, leading Ruby to rebel against her mother’s strict rules by planning to sneak out with her friends. Clumsily, she attempts to impress Conor, the boy she likes, with an extravagant invitation, resulting in a series of embarrassing mishaps that culminate in a chaotic scene by the sea.
When an accident causes Conor to fall into the ocean, Ruby instinctively jumps in to save him. Unfortunately, this encounter reveals her glowing hands, signaling her true nature, drawing the attention of her peers and creating a panicked atmosphere.
