Introduction

In the 2018 film Pacific Rim Uprising, we are thrust into a future where humanity must once again confront the monstrous threat posed by alien creatures known as kaijus. Following a previous victory, ten years of rebuilding ensue, but the remnants of war provide fertile ground for corruption and conflict. At the heart of this story lies Jake Pentecost, the son of a legendary war hero, a group of young cadets, and the iconic giant robots known as Jaegers.
