Dr. Van Hook, eager to use Radar—who possesses extraordinary abilities including communicating in human language and finding treasures—hides a Spanish coin, intending to train the dog for a treasure hunt off the Florida coast. But Radar’s capabilities soon take a turn when she escapes through a wall during training, racing into town and crossing paths with Gabe and Kylie, who are on their way home from school.
