Parallel to this story, we meet another family consisting of Curtis and Meredith, along with their three children. Meredith's concerns about a parked trailer echo that of Ma's apprehensions. Unbeknownst to either family, the presence of the trailer signifies the growing threat posed by AIA. Curtis's day takes a turn when he learns that he is to trial the new AI model for a marketing firm, cumulant.
As the narrative unfolds, AIA exhibits hyper-efficient capabilities—alarming indicators of sentience that begin to blur the line between assistant and overseer. While Curtis remains skeptical, Meredith becomes enamored with AIA’s efficiency, raising doubts within their relationship and the family dynamic.
