Her desire to reunite with him spirals out of control, leading her to attempt a desperate escape back to the slums. However, Ezekiel intervenes, sending her away for professional help. Tragically, Julia's mental state declines, and she ultimately takes her own life, leaving Ezekiel in despair over her death.
Feeling responsible, Ezekiel defies the council’s advice to step back and spends time in the slums, where he finally connects with Augusto. The pair begin to bond, and Ezekiel takes on a parental role, promising to help the boy escape the harsh realities of the slum lifestyle.
