Part 3/10:
Faced with the harrowing reality of impassable waters, the filmmakers wisely reroute south to the Kuyuwini River. Here they commence their next leg of the expedition by boat, pushing deeper into wilderness that is devoid of roads and bridges. Every step requires meticulous planning as they balance heavy loads of equipment against the unpredictable nature of the rainy season.
Complications arise as their four-wheel-drive truck becomes stuck in the mud; with no choice but to employ a cable winch to help these experienced adventurers continue their journey. The terrain transforms into a sticky mire with fallen trees and flooded paths, yet they persevere, determined to reach their new destination on the Essequibo.
