The Sinaloa Cartel, one of the most notorious drug trafficking organizations, has reportedly been disrupted due to Trump's firm rhetoric concerning tariffs and the heightened activities from the Mexican authorities. The president's threat of imposing a 25% tariff on Mexican goods has compelled Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to adopt a tougher stance on cartels. As a result, cartel members have expressed growing fear of arrest or even assassination, stating, “You don’t know when they will catch you; most important is to survive.”
