With traditional classrooms lost, teachers have had to innovate. Lessons are now recorded on mobile phones and shared through platforms like WhatsApp whenever the internet permits. One such teacher, Mus, has turned the remnants of his own destroyed home into a makeshift recording studio.
“The war has destroyed many aspects of life,” Mus explains, “but I’m doing my best to revive it using what little remains of my home. I face countless challenges: lack of equipment, no electricity, and battery shortages.” His reliance on solar panels for power adds another layer of difficulty—cloudy or rainy days can render his efforts futile.
