While the immediate needs for aid such as food, water, and shelter are undeniable, Saah brought attention to a critical aspect that often goes overlooked: the psychological effects of prolonged conflict. After 13 months of continuous attacks, the mental health of the population remains a pressing issue. Families, once whole, now bear the heavy burden of loss and trauma.
Saah highlighted the urgent need for psychological support for those affected, particularly for the orphaned children who face unimaginable challenges. “Many of these children have been left without parents and are now forced to take care of themselves or are living with relatives,” he explained.
