In the days following Sudika’s disappearance, investigators have noted several inconsistencies in the statements provided by the witnesses, including her friends and a young man who was with the group that night. Sheriff Mike Chapman expressed his concerns during an interview with News Nation’s Banfield on March 10. He revealed that the accounts of those present during the night have been revisited multiple times and that discrepancies in their testimonies were particularly alarming. Chapman highlighted the need to clarify what truly transpired on that fateful night, stating, "It does bother me here which really begs the question: what really happened there?"
