In the early days, humans faced numerous threats from the animal kingdom. Predators such as big cats and reptiles posed immediate dangers, prompting the development of technologies for protection. Humans constructed cities and developed weapons to ward off these threats, continuously striving to take advantage of the resources that nature provided while defending against its dangers. Yet, despite these efforts, the threat has evolved. Instead of physical predators, humans now face the invisible killers – bacteria and viruses.
