As 1941 unfolds, the situation for Jews in Poland deteriorates drastically. Schindler, amidst the human tragedy unfolding around him, decides to hire Jewish workers for his factory. He recognizes that employing them not only aids their survival but also secures cheap labor essential for his business. Schindler’s factory becomes a refuge for many—providing them an escape from the horrors of concentration camps.
