The story opens with a seemingly ordinary moment in the life of Dan, a teacher who is enjoying a football match with his young daughter, Mory. This tranquility is shattered when an inexplicable phenomenon occurs on-screen. A cloud of smoke and lightning appears, interrupting the game, and from this otherworldly event, soldiers emerge, led by Lieutenant Hart. They carry a dire message from the year 2051: Earth is under attack from a vicious alien species known as the White Spikes, decimating humanity.
