In the lighthouse, they found Gruner, an elderly man who revealed little beyond cryptic warnings and fragments of the tragedy that befell Vigeland. Frustrated by Gruner’s unhelpfulness but compelled by his determination, the Englishman bid farewell to the captain, eager to settle into his new home.

The peaceful facade of the island began to crumble as he noticed bizarre rock formations and soon became acutely aware that he was not alone.
