Part 2/8:
Despite the noble intentions behind this monumental project, the massive costs and resource allocations spark outrage across the globe. Riots and protests erupt amongst individuals who are indifferent to the potential future calamities that loom on the horizon. The tension escalates further when the UEG discontinues the Digital Life Project (DLP), which advocated for the continuation of civilization through digital immortality technologies. In retaliation, factions from the DLP engage in cyber warfare and act of terrorism against the UEG, deepening public distrust in the government's plans.
