Part 3/9:
One fateful night, a wealthy young man sets off for a night on the town, guided by his chauffeur’s suggestion to visit a nightclub rather than the theater. Amidst a flurry of dancing and flirtation, the young man sneaks off with an intrigue but is abruptly interrupted by a stranger. In a moment filled with tension, the stranger’s presence escalates into violence marked by an electric shock, forcing both the man and the woman he’s with to face dire consequences.
FBI agents, Peters and Greer, arrive to investigate and discover that the deux surrogates bear signs of damage; the male’s memory chip is broken, and both have experienced severe eye trauma. As the investigation deepens, they uncover a chilling connection to a wider network of surrogate control and human operators.
