Part 2/7:
As time passes, OJ prepares one of their remaining horses, Lucky, for a film directed by Fynn Bachman. While the director reminisces about Otis, the impending realities seep in when OJ struggles to effectively communicate with the film crew. Just as all seems lost, the arrival of his sister, Em, offers a glimmer of hope. She takes charge, reminding everyone of the Haywood family legacy in cinema history and their connection to the very first horse-riding film.
This moment of optimism is cut short when the crew's eagerness leads to disaster; Lucky panics and injures a makeup artist, resulting in the loss of their job. On the way home, barriers pile on as OJ reveals to Em their need to sell Lucky, along with ten other horses, to alleviate their financial strains.
