Part 2/9:
Our story begins in a boys’ hostel within a medical college, where Tree wakes up disoriented in the room of a boy named Carter. She struggles with the events of the previous night, her head pounding from the hangover of a party she hardly remembers. Carter explains their drunken encounter, and as they interact, Tree feels a mix of embarrassment and curiosity about her surroundings. After a brief encounter with her former date, Tim, and ignoring flirtations from boys she passes on her way home, she reaches her hostel with little more than vague memories and a feeling of unease.
