Part 6/9:
The stakes are heightened when Ken learns of Tang’s troubling past—a history involving violence and fear. The automatic triggers of Tang’s memories reveal deeper layers to their world, showcasing how trauma can manifest even in artificial beings. Following a frantic escape from their pursuers, Ken begins to confront his own personal demons, particularly surrounding the loss of his father—a defining moment that has haunted him and paralyzed his ambitions.
As Tang realizes his own fear of reverting to a violent state, Ken's journey becomes twofold: not only must he save Tang from the clutches of those who wish to exploit him, but he also must face his own past mistakes and fears of inadequacy, particularly with regard to his family and career.
