In a particularly poignant moment, Kelly recounted her farewell ritual with Chewy. Notably, Chewy had always been particular and did not allow her to kiss her face while she was alive. However, in the tender moments after Chewy passed, Kelly kissed her beloved dog on the face and nose multiple times, reminiscing that it was a first for her. She noted that even though she imagined Chewy might have disapproved in "dog heaven," the act brought her a sense of comfort and closure.
