Addressing Criticism and Misunderstanding
Allison has faced scrutiny from members of Steven's inner circle, including his brother and mother, for her decision to publish the memoir. In response, she has clearly stated her intentions in an Instagram story, saying, “I want to be clear that my only intention in writing the book is to share my own story as well as part of my life with Steven to help other people.”
She asserts that her writing serves as a celebration of the love and life she shared with Steven, as well as an opportunity to empower herself and others who might be experiencing similar grief and challenges.
