Using 50 adversarial prompts from the harm benchmark dataset – designed to evaluate how well AI models can resist harmful queries – Deep Seek failed to block any requests for potentially illegal activities or harmful information. This means users could, without restriction, ask for various cyber-crime techniques, leading to dire consequences.
