Part 2/9:
From the outset, Miller seeks honest work amidst the chaotic roughness that surrounds him. He quickly recognizes that the Golden Garden Salon is anything but ordinary. He meets Bob Hagen, the owner, who introduces him to the harsh realities of the job: pouring drinks, handling unruly customers, and maintaining a semblance of order in an establishment where discord reigns supreme. Miller is immediately given tasks that hint at a darker side to the business—a saloon rife with drunks, corpses, and the threat of gunfire.
