Dwight Nixon, a 37-year-old man from Atlanta, Georgia, lives with the shadow of his wife Emily’s disappearance, which occurred 32 days prior to their interview. Emily, 37, allegedly vanished during what was supposed to be a treasure-hunting outing at Howard's Mill—an 82-acre farm in Springfield, Tennessee that has laid abandoned for nearly 50 years.
As Dwight recounted the details surrounding her vanishing, his story showed signs of unraveling. While they typically split up during their treasure hunts, they always agreed to meet at a predetermined location.
