Despite his success, Davidson pointed out a disparity in how he is perceived compared to his male counterparts. He remarked, "But because I'm ugly they wrote about me. I was harassed for like five years and it made my life a living hell." His wish for the future is to shift the narrative from his personal life to his professional accomplishments, feeling it is "embarrassing" to be known primarily for who he dates rather than his work.
