Mixing the Base: Start by collecting your ingredients. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, sugar, margarine, and vanilla extract. Beat them together thoroughly until well mixed.
Adding Flour and Milk: Gradually add the flour to the mixture. Initially, incorporate a small amount of milk, adjusting the consistency as needed. The aim is to achieve a batter that is neither too thick nor too runny. Typically, around 250 ml of milk is optimal for the right consistency.
Incorporating Baking Powder: Once you’ve reached the desired consistency, add the baking powder and mix until uniform. The batter is now ready.
