Hunter also took a moment to reflect on family. There was a heartfelt acknowledgment of his father, who couldn’t attend the ceremony, as well as his loving family who has been supportive throughout his journey. He sensed their pride in his accomplishments, although they kept their feelings somewhat reserved. “They don't want to show it to me in my face,” he chuckled, anticipating deeper celebrations during the upcoming holiday season, which he whimsically dubbed a "Heisman holiday" in the Hunter household.
