The Orcs symbolize Melkor’s ability to turn the beautiful into the grotesque, becoming the foot soldiers of hatred and destruction across the ages.
Throughout his reign, these malevolent creatures played pivotal roles in countless battles, including the epic Wars of Beleriand and the Third Age conflicts. Even after Melkor’s fall, Orcs remained a blight upon Middle-earth, perpetuating his dark legacy through their violence and terror.
