The 1933 sequel, “Son of Kong,” featured a smaller version of the beast, standing at about 12 feet. The appearances of King Kong evolved with films like “King Kong vs. Godzilla” in 1962 and continued to push the boundaries of imagination, showcasing Kong at 148 feet. An entire animated series in 2001 and a Broadway adaptation in 2013 further expanded Kong’s universe, highlighting his enduring popularity.
