Once your batter is ready, it’s time to prepare the baking pan. Generously grease a large rectangular baking dish (about 27.5 cm by 40 cm) with butter or margarine, then sprinkle with flour. Pour in the cake batter and smooth it out.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven until lightly golden. Once it’s baked, allow it to cool for about five minutes. As it cools, prepare the filling.
Filling the Sweet Roll
For the delicious filling, use a generous amount of dulce de leche—about one and a half cans. If you’re not sure how to make it, I have a tutorial on how to cook condensed milk in a pressure cooker. Once the cake is cool, spread the dulce de leche evenly across the top.
