This interconnectivity illustrates that physical appearances cannot rigidly define Elvish identities, as lineage and personal choices played a more substantial role.
Affinities with the Valar
Each faction of elves held specific Valar close to their hearts, deepening their lore. The Vanyar, beloved by Manwë and Varda, were considered the most faithful. The Noldor had a bond with Aulë, the smith, reflecting their crafting skills, while the Teleri cherished Ulmo, the Lord of Waters, signifying their maritime inclinations.
