Research published in the Journal of Engineering in Medicine and Biology highlights alarming findings; approximately 70% of astronauts experience changes in their vision post-mission. This condition, known as Spaceflight Associated Neuro-Ocular Syndrome (SANS), has been recognized by NASA since 2011.
