Part 2/7:
Starlink, the satellite constellation operated by SpaceX and founded by billionaire Elon Musk, presently runs approximately 4,400 satellites worldwide. With over 335,000 clients in Brazil alone, the company has made significant inroads into the country's internet service landscape. Last December, Starlink petitioned for authorization to deploy an additional 7,500 second-generation satellites across Brazilian territory, which would more than double its existing fleet and enable the usage of new frequency bands that had not been utilized for such services in Brazil.
