Part 20/27:
The Schaeffler BioHybrid is an example of a new kind of personal urban transportation that combines the speed of a bike with the stability and protection from the elements of a compact car. These biohybrid vehicles run on a hybrid system that combines human strength with an electric motor, taking up very little space in parking lots and being able to be used on bike lanes without a driver's license.
The BioHybrid can support speeds of up to 25 km/h thanks to its two 250W motors, with a 48V battery and 1.2kW capacity that can provide a range of up to 50 km. An optional second battery can extend the range to 100 km, making it an environmentally friendly and economically viable option for city transportation.
