During the past October, Boise State, alongside teams from the University of Wyoming and Southern Utah, chose to forfeit their games against San Jose State, aligning with what they perceive as a stand against discrimination. An athlete from one of these teams expressed pride in her team's decision, stating that they "are not playing against this biological male," underscoring concerns regarding locker room safety and fairness in women’s competitions.
