The state of Ukraine's energy grid is dire, with significant damage sustained to thermal plants and hydroelectric facilities. To address this shortfall, the EU plans to invest in the repair of energy infrastructure and has provided financial support to key electricity companies, including DTEK, which has recently faced devastating attacks.
