Understanding the Crisis at Zam Zam Displacement Camp in Sudan

The Zam Zam displacement camp in Darfur, Sudan, is currently facing a catastrophic situation, marked by severe violence and humanitarian despair. Recent reports indicate that the camp has endured heavy attacks, believed to be perpetrated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), although the RSF has denied responsibility. On this grave occasion, at least six individuals lost their lives when 20 shells were indiscriminately fired into the camp, adding to the instability and fear that already permeates this community.
