The circumstances at Zam Zam are part of a broader crisis engulfing Sudan, where more than 11 million people have been displaced due to ongoing conflicts. This makes it the largest displacement crisis in the world as of now. Despite the scale and urgency of the situation, international attention and assistance have largely been diverted elsewhere. Humanitarian organizations and global powers seem focused on other conflicts, notably in Ukraine and Gaza, leaving those suffering in Sudan to remain largely ignored.
