Narges Mohammadi is widely recognized as one of Iran's most prominent human rights activists. She is particularly known for her staunch opposition to the compulsory hijab and capital punishment. Despite facing immense challenges, including imprisonment, she has continued her advocacy work. Notably, Mohammadi has gone on hunger strikes to protest the injustices faced by other political prisoners, undeterred by her circumstances.
