The role of a catechist in the Catholic Church, especially regarding the sacrament of confirmation, is more than just a position; it's a heartfelt mission. The journey towards becoming a catechist can come as a surprise, even when it turns into a deeply rewarding experience. For many, like my personal experience, this journey begins unexpectedly, often guided by spiritual leaders who see potential before one does. Through this journey, I have come to realize that helping children prepare for confession and confirmation is more than merely fulfilling a role—it's about planting seeds of faith that will grow over time.
