Sufi Grind and Downward Facing Dog
Next, the instructor leads participants through a "Sufi grind," which involves circular movements of the torso to open the hips and lower back. Following this, the classic downward-facing dog pose, or "triangle pose," is introduced. Participants are reminded to connect with their breathing, alternating between inhaling through the mouth and exhaling through the nose, which helps to awaken their senses and higher brain centers.
