Participants are encouraged to focus on different locations in the body as they chant. For instance, they may feel the vibrations in their heart for "Namo" and in their throat for "Guru." This personal connection with the chant allows each individual to experience their unique energy flow during the practice.
Grounding and Activating Energy
To kick off the practice, Brett guides participants through a subtle yet effective movement known as Sufi grind, which involves a gentle rocking motion of the body. This is not only a way to warm up but also serves as an exercise to stir up energy stored in the first and second chakras, enhancing awareness of the body and breath.
