As the first round progressed, it became apparent that AA needed to adjust his strategy. The fighter struggled with the mid-range, where he lacked reach. A combination of kicks and punches from Rin made clear the challenges AA faced—he had to either stay out of reach or close in tightly to land his strikes effectively.
While an attempted illegal strike greatly concerned the commentators, the fight moved along without interruption, showcasing Rin’s ability to pivot and adapt to the unfolding scenario. Both fighters made it to the end of the round, breathing heavily but with determination still shining in their eyes.
