Part 5/8:

No visit to a British market is complete without sampling fish and chips. At the fish kitchen, I order the most expensive option—the halibut—totaling £25.95. Served with thick-cut chips and a small additional charge for tartar sauce, I dig in, impressed by the flaky, well-seasoned fish and comforting potatoes. While the experience is delightful, I can't help but feel that the calamari (£28.95) I also ordered left something to be desired.

Traditional British Pie

As I continue my challenge, I opt for a traditional beef and kidney pie, priced at £6. The flaky crust and hearty filling provide a satisfying meal. While the flavor is decent, the unique taste of kidney isn't my favorite, and I realize I could have chosen something more suited to my palate.
