After a fulfilling meal, we settled into our accommodation and prepared for the evening at one of Mangalore's legendary restaurants known for its ghee roast chicken. The chicken is slow-roasted, resulting in a tender and flavorful dish seasoned with a homemade masala that caramelized beautifully. It’s this community-led hospitality that makes dining in India an unforgettable experience.
Breakfast Bliss
Day two began with an early morning trip to KT Hotel for breakfast. Here, we indulged in Mangalore buns, a delightful treat made with ripe bananas and a hint of sweetness, paired with spicy sambar. The breakfast was topped off with strong, aromatic tea—an energizing way to kickstart the day.
